6th International Symposium on Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee I am pleased to invite you to participate in the forthcoming 6th International Symposium on Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer, to be held from 14 to 18 September 2009 at ’Sapienza’ University of Rome, Italy.

Many of you have already participated in some or all past triennial events in the series, held in Lisbon (1994), Delft (1997), Nagoya (2000), Antalya (2003) and Dubrovnik (2006) and we hope to see you again, this time in Rome. Five reputed keynote speakers will introduce new trends in experimental, theoretical and computational research and developments in different fields where turbulent heat and mass transfer play crucial role.

Papers are solicited in a broad range of topics dealing with multiple facets of heat and mass transfer associated with turbulence and we hope that you and your colleagues will find it worthwhile submitting and presenting your novel research outcome at this meeting. Note that the deadline for submitting abstracts is 31 January 2009.
